Group Project Assignment
The group project provides you with an opportunity to increase and demonstrate your understanding of telecommunication/networking theory and practice. Working with a team of 4 other classmates, select a commonly interested topic through group communication and discussion. Use the Blackboard Group tools to enhance your group collaborations.

The group project paper is to be about 5 pages single spaces (exclusive of title page, references, figures, appendices, etc.) and should be submitted in a neat and organized fashion.
Guidelines and format of your GROUP project paper
Cover page with the title of your project in capital letter and boldface, following are Group Number, Group member names, course number, instructor name, Quarter and year. Centered everything on this page.
Table of Contents with major and minor sections and corresponding page number.
Abstract of 100 to 250 words about your project paper
Body part of your report. Should have introduction, review if necessary, research of your topic, future study/research/direction/forecasting, conclusion/summery.
Appendix if any. If more than one, number each Appendix consecutively.
References (be complete). Entries should appear in alphabetical order and should follow the format of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 3rd edition.
More specific format instructions:
Page dimensions are based on using 8.5” x 11” paper. Set the margins of the page to one inch on top, bottom, left, and right sides.
Use Times New Roman font, at 12-point type throughout the paper, including all appendices and references.
Single space throughout the body of the paper, but provide double spacing between sections, after section headings, and between references (but single space within a given reference).
All major section headings should be presented in all capital letters in boldface type and centered on the page.
All minor section headings should be presented in italicized type with left justification.
Tables, Illustrations, Graphs, and Figures should be preceded with a centered non-bold section heading.
Any appendices should immediately follow the body of the paper and precede the references. The word APPENDIX should be centered in boldface type at the top of each appendix, with each Appendix numbered consecutively.
The word REFERENCES should appear centered above the list of references.
Online articles follow the same guidelines for printed articles. Include all information the online host makes available, including an issue number in parentheses.
