A POLICY OF RACIAL PROFILING IN COLUMBUS OHIO
The issue of racial profiling by police officers has been an issue in the United States for many years. Targeting members of a particular racial group has received high criticism. This policy has received a lot of negative publicity because of the force used in its implementation. This paper will examine the racial profiling in Columbus, Ohio. The research will clearly and critically analyze the relevant information on how racial profiling is implemented in the City of Columbus. The paper will provide a recommendation for change in the implementation of the current racial profiling policy. Ultimately the research paper will give a more ethical use to a racial profiling system that is used the by the Columbus, Ohio law enforcement officers.
