Mod 3 Case: Aligning HR Strategy with Business Strategy
In this assignment you are in the role of an HR consultant. There is a critical deliverable that your client expects from you:
Prepare and deliver a persuasive, 15- to 20-minute power point visual presentation to be given to the top management staff for distribution warehouse with 300 employees in one location.
Describe how HR should balance its administrative tasks with its strategic focus. Some of the top staff is adamantly opposed to outsourcing HR functions. However, the company wants to keep its HR department at 5 or less employees. Make recommendations based on what you have learned in your MSHRM program. You may need to convince the staff to outsource some HR functions, but in order to be successful you will need to be very enlightening and persuasive.
Your submission should be a PowerPoint slide presentation.
The presentation should include all relevant information, including data analyses (charts, graphs); decision criteria; changes needed, and so forth. Remember that the purpose of the presentation is to help turn the HR department into a strategic partner with the business side of the organization but at the same time keeping as many of its administrative tasks in house as possible.

Your assignment should demonstrate critical thinking and analysis of the relevant issues and HRM actions, drawing upon the required background readings and your own research. Limit your Internet searching and focus instead on library searches and be sure to bring in information from the background readings
