Beverage Service Operations- Week 3 Individual Project 1, assignment help

Assignment

The U.S. government has established Standards of Identity for the various classes of alcoholic beverages, that is, the types of spirits (gin, vodka, brandy, rum, tequila, the various whiskeys), types of wines, and types of malt beverages (beer and ale). These standards, rigidly enforced, ensure a produced beverage maintains certain specifically recognized distinctive characteristics.

  • Discuss the differences between fermented and distilled beverages.
  • Identify 3 of each and explain how they are made.
  • Explain some of the other characteristics that separate themselves from each other.
