Final Paper:Cultural Controversy Paper (100 points): You will a 13-15-page word research paper in which you investigate a significant cultural controversy. Be sure to examine the rhetoric from all sides of the controversy and analyze what you think is going on in this moment. What does the conflict say about the culture(s) involved? What does it say about the broader population that this controversy exists? You may take any perspective you like, but you must defend your position in the paper. Your aim should be to produce an essay that not only applies what you have learned this semester, but also is an essay that your classmates (and maybe even scholars in the discipline of rhetoric) would find valuable to read. In keeping with departmental policy, all formal written work must be done in APA format. The paper must be at least fully 13 contexts and must to contain 15 references that are peer review articles.
