It’s been my experience that most employers want to hire from personal referrals over all other hiring methods because the results of finding an employee who is a better candidate for the job and will stay with the organization longer increases considerably. With that being said, effective networking practices can include social networking, which can include the Internet, job boards and job fairs. Regardless, at some point you’ll be asked to present your resume. There are 3 main types of resumes which are the Chronological, the Functional and a combination of the two. They need to be well written and show off what you can bring to the table. Let’s talk about your resumes and how you have had to make changes as your education and skill levels have increased.
