EDDL 613 Concord Course Reflective journal

Course Reflection Journal

Due Saturday

For the first six weeks of this course, you were asked to maintain a journal that served as a place to record reflections, realizations, inspiration, or insights related to the course content. Chuck Hebert (2011) indicates five values of keeping a leadership journal, including the promotion of critical thinking and the deeper exploration of ideas; the opportunity to process and solidify thoughts on various concepts; and a single place to keep thoughts and ideas.

Considering everything you have learned in this course, in a three- to five-page paper, reflect on how your perspectives have changed.

  • Identify three concepts, or “aha” moments, of this course that were significant for you.
  • Describe how these concepts have altered your perspectives and how they can be applied in your day-to-day professional and personal life.
  • Cite examples from the required studies that illuminated your insights.
  • Include the rough draft entries from your journal as an appendix to your paper.
