- Administrative Expert: This is more aligned with traditional HR functions, such as management of staff, training and hiring.
- Employee Champion: This role emphasizes the needs of employees with the purpose of increasing commitment. It is also needed to increase and encourage loyalty to the organization while concentrating on employee well-being.
- Change Agent: HR helps employees encounter, embrace and institute change within the organization (Conner and Ulrich, 2009) .
