Most of us in the United States have heard of well-known gangs such as Hell’s Angels and The Outlaws motorcycle gangs. Law enforcement is making contact with new gangs weekly, and most departments have developed a gang task force just to monitor these groups.
Please respond to the following:
- Research at least two gangs that are in your local area, and provide information regarding their membership and criminal activity.
- What are at least two ways that law enforcement can reduce gang activity?
- What ways can law enforcement reach out to the youth to reduce gang membership?
