II. Requirements of the Assignment

: • Interview a CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) or a security manager in an organization to find information as much as possible on the following:

▪ Background information on the organization and the network security administrator.

▪ Type of network(s) that is/are installed, giving examples of hardware and software.

▪ Type of network threats encountered in the organization.

▪ Who make(s) decisions on managing network security, and the criteria for those decisions.

▪ How the network security is being managed in the organization, with emphasis on the following:

1- ▪ Examples of network security measures implemented in the organization.

2- ▪ Examples of achievements that are brought by the network security management.

3- ▪ Examples of problems that are encountered with the network security management.

  • Write a short report of no less than FIVE and no more than SIX double-spaced pages on the findings from this interview. Also, you need to include your comments at the end of the report.
  • Put the course information on the first page. Name the file with IST215 SRA-1 Last Name First Name, and include the information in the subject line of the email submission.

    • III. Grading Criteria: Grades will be based on:

    ✓ The content, quality, clarity, and concise of your report (60%).

    ✓ The organization/structure of the answers to the questions in your report (40%).
