Multimedia resources like Prezi, SlideShare, Windows Media Player help students comprehend context through visual and audial representations. Multimedia resources are especially significant for learning English as a second language because students can grasp a foreign language through images, charts, videos, sounds quickly and all multimedia resources help students have permanent knowledge during learning process.

I read the article about the WebQuest. According to the article, WebQuests emphasis higher-order thinking and increase critical thinking by employing higher levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy and Webb’s depth of knowledge. WebQuests are group work, therefore, it reinforces cooperative learning and collaborative activities. Moreover, it used to introduce new knowledge, to deepen knowledge, or to allow students to test hypotheses as part of a final interaction with knowledge. In the light of my experience with using WebQuests, it easy to use and it beneficial for both students and teacher. Because it emphasizes information use rather than information gathering, students can stay on task and they can focus on using resources to answer questions. In my opinion, I think the best advantage from WebQuest is that the teacher can differentiate the task by designing one WebQuest that meet each student needs in his skill level in order to allow students attain the learning skill of the task successfully.
