2. What is the importance of collecting and interpreting data and information about competitors? What practices should a firm use to gather competitive intelligence and why? Which practices do you feel are unethical?
3. In their mission statements, many organizations include what the organization’s responsibilities are to their most important stakeholder groups.
Who are stakeholders? How do the three primary stakeholder groups influence organizations? Think about the organization you work for (if you do not currently work think of a previous employer or an organization you are a part of – i.e. church or the PTO), who are your primary stakeholders?
4.What are the differences between the general environment and the industry environment? Why are these differences important?
