I posted the following article “The Housing Market With Nowhere to Go (but Up)” from The New York Times. Pay particularly attention to page 3.
There was a proposal to introduce a tax on the these tech companies in order to help or improve the housing problem, but it did not pass because a tax will not create jobs.
New constructions are difficult to happen for the geography of San Francisco and regulations in San Francisco.
How can they improve the housing problem and bring in teachers and police officers?
