Prepare a trial court brief – see Assignment 7 in your Putman text (found on page 559). Pay close attention to your writing mechanics – remember to proof read your work carefully. Bear in mind that the attorney who submits the brief to the court is an officer of the court, but also remember that this document is a piece of trial advocacy, so it should be written in a persuasive manner!
