Week 1 Assignment – What Is Your Own Culture?

Prompt

Your assignment this week is to write about yourself. What makes you unique? Use the results from the test in the background information to reflect on what you have learned about yourself. Be sure to note your results from the test as you will use it to create your week 1 assignment. You will organize your paper into four parts as described below.

Part 1: Describe your own culture. What influences who you are? Consider writing about your family, celebrations, religion, country of origin, race, income level, favorite things to do/see/eat/read/watch, what you do when you’re alone, what you love about the people around you, and so on. However, you do not need to disclose anything that would make you feel uncomfortable.
