Will and Esate Law

  1. Review the will formView in a new window. Copy it and paste it to your word processor program.
  2. READ IT.
  3. The will form is a simple generic will with a trust. Not all of the parts of the Will, or Items, will apply to your personal situation. Decide which ones will not apply.
  4. Your assignment is to use the will form, delete the items that you think will not apply, and SAVE AS (YOUR NAME) WILL DRAFT. EX: If my name is John Doe, I would save the will as Will, John Doe..DO NOT JUST SAVE OVER YOUR FORM!!! You will lose the boilerplate language that might apply to another person’s situation. Make a list of the items you deleted and, in short paragraphs, tell why you decided to delete those particular Items
